 Thrift Day

We needed to get props and different clothes. Yet us being teens we don't have a disposable budget. So we needed realistic stuff for cheap. Aka THE THIFT STORE!!! So, after school, I planned a thrift day. I included Paola my partner, and Sonali our friend who was also going to be our nurse. We carpooled to our local thrift store. When we got there we all split up I personally thrift as a hobby so this was more fun than working on a project. I really enjoyed myself while thrifting. We needed scrubs for Sonali's costume. We found some quite quickly. Yet the sizing was weird. Some of the pants would be X-small yet the tops would be large... Which started kind of frustrating me since we couldn't find a good fit for her. Yet we just decided to make her try a few on. We then found the right pair  We also found jeans, shirts, and jackets for me and Paola. We needed a shirt for her accident that we could mess up. We ended up getting a brown oversized shirt. It fit the vibe of our products so I got that. There were definitely ups and downs while we tried different clothes on. Yet we overall had a good time and had fun while remaining productive.

  The CCR midterm 1.        How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?     Our  product challenges   conventions in  many different ways . We also are representing a wide social class within our video. Essentially the group  that  representing is teenage girls  and also  women in general. Essentially our targeted audience is all and everyone. We are shining a light on toxic relationships. Henceforth we see such acts all throughout our video. We also see highlights from fake friends and such. Our main point of this video  was  to represent the class of women that is essentially not seen because society ignores women's issues especially when it comes to toxic relationships.  W omen  are  seen as  overdramatic  and over victimized. Genre Research: Thriller & Drama

  Thriller Common lighting in this genre is backlighting, under lighting, and lowkey lighting. This helps to create a dark and mysterious atmosphere and helps to conceal the character's identity, which adds to that suspense.  Some common camera angles are close-ups shots, which exemplify the emotions of the characters or frames an object, to be at attention. Point of view shots allow the viewers to feel emotionally engaged because they feel as though they are the character.  Tracking is a common camera movement that follows the character's action but at the same doesn't spoil the movie.  For this genre costumes usually worn by the antagonist are darker.
