Genres My Partner and I Will Explore

 My partner and I thought about many different themes and genres that we wanted to incorporate into our short film. We believe that different effects from various other themes can still play a part in our production. We had the idea of continuing our love for the thriller genre into our next project. But we also felt as though maybe this genre was getting repetitive. Our ideas in our past projects were different, but maybe we needed to get a different perspective on our overall themes and tones. We thought maybe it's time for us to try a different genre and see how well we can produce it. Horror closely relates to the thriller genre in all the ways we love. This is why we would be interested in researching this genre. As well as the thriller genre. We both love horror movies. Their interchangeable aspects can fit perfectly to make our favorite films. Horror movies have factors that are similar to the thriller genre. The lighting usually stays consistently ominous in horror. While in the thriller genre you can see its periodical appearance. The final genre we felt we could incorporate into our pitch was drama. Movies with this genre are very diverse. They have quite a bit of dialogue and are usually a rollercoaster ride. Our pitch is quite eventful and might use a little more dialogue than what we have done in the past. Our pitch could fall into either of these genres well enough to be produced. So we must take a closer look into each one.

  I watched this movie about two years ago and fell in love. The plot, the actors, and the message were beautiful.  Very few films linger in my mind the way Arrival did. The CCR midterm

  The CCR midterm 1.        How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?     Our  product challenges   conventions in  many different ways . We also are representing a wide social class within our video. Essentially the group  that  representing is teenage girls  and also  women in general. Essentially our targeted audience is all and everyone. We are shining a light on toxic relationships. Henceforth we see such acts all throughout our video. We also see highlights from fake friends and such. Genre Research: Thriller & Drama

  Thriller Common lighting in this genre is backlighting, under lighting, and lowkey lighting. This helps to create a dark and mysterious atmosphere and helps to conceal the character's identity, which adds to that suspense.  Some common camera angles are close-ups shots, which exemplify the emotions of the characters or frames an object, to be at attention. Point of view shots allow the viewers to feel emotionally engaged because they feel as though they are the character.  Tracking is a common camera movement that follows the character's action but at the same doesn't spoil the movie.  For this genre costumes usually worn by the antagonist are darker.
