Comparing 9, the short, and 9, the full-length movie

We began by seeing the short film 9. This picture lasted only around ten minutes and featured no dialogue. My initial reaction to this short video was that it needed to have some dialogue. This would vastly improve the quality of this little film. It would not only improve it, but it would also make it easier to comprehend. Throughout this short clip, I became disoriented on several occasions. I had no idea what was going on or where I was. Without any speech to listen to, it was difficult to follow. You had no choice but to pay attention to the body language of these tiny characters. Perhaps the characters' small noises for each emotion. When they're little rag dolls, this isn't easy. It would be easier to comprehend if it featured this dialogue, but they would also be able to add a lot more. In movies, dialogue is really important. They can appear bland and unfinished without it, as though little effort was put into them. It's similar to pasta sauce in that it's boring without it, but once you add it, it's 100 times better. Apart from the dialogue, my girlfriend and I thought that this was a decent little short film for what it was. On the actual film, you can observe a significant difference in a variety of regions. The first thing you'll notice is that there's actual speech between our rag doll characters. This did exactly what I expected and contributed a lot to the movie.
