I watched this movie about two years ago and fell in love. The plot, the actors, and the message were beautiful. Very few films linger in my mind the way Arrival did. But even after several viewings, on each watch, Arrival offers a new interpretation, a fresh point of view, or a renewed perception of events. The movie questions our linear concept of time, this business of starting from the beginning and stopping at the end. But they made us ask, what if time, to suit our intent, could be bent, formed, molded? And she doesn't always have the answers in the future and always has to fill these open holes with up-to-date knowledge from the present; explanations such as the name of her husband, presenting the answer to a science question for her daughter, and how she came to receive insight from the future. The CCR midterm 1. How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? Our product challenges conventions in many different ways . We also are representing a wide social class within our video. Essentially the group that representing is teenage girls and also women in general. Essentially our targeted audience is all and everyone. We are shining a light on toxic relationships. Henceforth we see such acts all throughout our video. We also see highlights from fake friends and such. This helps to create a dark and mysterious atmosphere and helps to conceal the character's identity, which adds to that suspense. Some common camera angles are close-ups shots, which exemplify the emotions of the characters or frames an object, to be at attention. Point of view shots allow the viewers to feel emotionally engaged because they feel as though they are the character.
