Production Blog: Editing Continues...

Editing Continues...

We finished filming everything FINALLY. The most time-consuming things I had to edit were some audio tracks and the credits which I will get into the next blog. First off the ill start on the audio clips. The main ones I will be speaking about in the editing of the audio itself will be the "911 call" and Zeke's monologue. I edited the 911 call because I wanted it to sound echoing because 911 calls aren't crystal clear. Which was what I had, I wanted somewhat of an echo. So I used a sound editing platform and I pretty much just played around with the exposed and the pitches. I had no prior experience and there really wasn't any type of intro into the tech I was using. This meaning I was pretty much on my own. So I played around with it and finally got it to something I somewhat liked. Then for Zekes thing, it sounded very monotone and plan. So I also edited that using the platform known as Garageband. I also had no experience so I did that something as before yet this platform was a little more sure friendly. This process coincided with a lot of playing-back audio and such. It was very meticulous and somewhat frustrating. Deffinlty the hardest task I faced during this whole ordeal. Yet it was still something I needed to do. Mainly because I didn't want to half work on it. I wanted everything to look and sound the best or else all the work would have been for nothing. Hopefully, this made sense and was worth it. Can't wait for the finished product.
