The CCR midterm

  The CCR midterm

1.      How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues?

Our product challenges conventions in many different ways. We also are representing a wide social class within our video. Essentially the group that representing is teenage girls and also women in general. Essentially our targeted audience is all and everyone. We are shining a light on toxic relationships. Henceforth we see such acts all throughout our video. We also see highlights from fake friends and such. Our main point of this video was to represent the class of women that is essentially not seen because society ignores women's issues especially when it comes to toxic relationships. Women are seen as overdramatic and over victimized. Yet within society, there isn't enough light on these toxic relationships and friendships. While it's mentally unhealthy we also see it become physically unhealthy throughout our video. For example, when I main character Paolo becomes sick from the anxiety she's feeling. Also, when this toxic relationship turns from verbally abusive which hurts mentally. But it takes a turn to become physically abusive. We see that simple manipulation can turn into so much more. Yes, that is not shine or even talked about within society today. Robin will stay on social media are these having picture-perfect relationships get when that really isn't what the cases. We also see abuse to self-harm as an anxiety-ridden sickness. Overall this cinematic piece is essentially spreading awareness to our audience of such relationships. Rather than the glitz and glam that is portrayed on social media of a relationship. the message here isn't just for women yet for the overall empowerment of all kinds. We also see that the people that we reach around us affect us a lot. While this toxic relationship is bad we also see her somewhat best friend helping to worsen the situation. Essentially mental health is our main issue and we see that if you surround yourself with the wrong people your mental health will be affected negatively.

2. How does your product engage with audiences AND how would it be distributed as a real media text?

our product engages the audience in various ways. Essentially you get to see and understand our characters. While you've grown an emotional attachment to them. You also somewhat feel their pain and what they're feeling especially our main character Paola. if R filled with this tributed as real text media it would probably be distributed and TV. And also YouTube. Essentially both platforms are very important due to the fact that I have student music. MTV used to be a sharing platform for various artists therefore that's why it would make sense that it would be there since the music video. And also you too because it is also a wide platform for video and audio content. Which is very mostly see artist videos and work. Also, it's easier to share content through such websites as YouTube. Which is also a great marketing fact and better publicity. That also through MTV you see a wider audience being broadcasted too. While YouTube also has a wide audience it's rather Amor critiqued streaming service. Compared to such TV as MTV where it's a wider broadcast system. Yet both are strategically good for this music video. But back onto how it engages with the audiences. if you can't behold the characters emphasis you can essentially relate somehow. also, the way that this piece is done makes you almost feel as if they're watching over these characters including motions with them. Throughout the lighting changes which essentially changes the mood of the overall video the viewer also feels too. even though they're not there they almost feel as if with the crane angles and also the lighting change easy big key elements to our didn't matter essentially it's elevating the audience which included that even more

3.      How did your production skills develop throughout this project?

my production skills developed a lot throughout this project. Well, I have to do a lot of filming I had to think about a lot of angling. You have the cranes over the shoulders and pans it was a lot of work. I definitely got a better feel of having a camera in my hand than I ever did before. There are a lot of shots and a lot of takes. This also definitely met a lot of editing this is probably the most shots I've ever filmed and had a lot of filming periods. rather than my other commercial that I did for vans which I shot in one day shooting this video took multiple days. Yet, it was also quite fun to be able to do that into my own ideas come to life. There is definitely some trouble angling some shots heavy overall got through it especially more of the phone shots where the screen is reflected it overall everything was figured out and sorted out in the finished product was great. There's also a lot of editing period since there are so many clips there's a lot going through. Just cutting clips and going through takes itself a lot of work. Yet overall I've cut editing it chunks after every day I would film. This needed a lot much easier because I did an important. So I wasn't really too overwhelmed with editing but Tony was also super fun. Almost act like it's a lot of hard work it really isn't it's more of how you look at things. I sensually got the play director Phil Moran producer. While also acting a little. Hands off my skills are tested. On all the improved by a lot. I love the experience I got from this project and definitely it will help me be better in the future. By editing skills definitely will be better than they have ever been due to all the editing and how to do this video. Yeah honestly wouldn't have it any other way. Overall this was a great project and my production skills definitely have improved all throughout. Not just editing filming and acting but overall producing, in general, was definitely an experience, that I would probably do again.

4. How did you integrate technologies – software, hardware, and online – in this project?

There is a lot of technology integrated into this project. Not just by software and online but more. Overall filming was somewhat difficult for some different parts. There was a lot to do. It was mainly shot on my iPhone XR  for a one-shot. I shot it on my mom's iPhone while I use my phone as a prop. Yet technology was mainly highlighted all throughout this video for our main target of relation Gen Z. So by this user technology meaning other iPhones and other phones we see throughout the video. A mental that we use a lot with text messages. A few words could say 1300 videos. Two definitely there is way more technology than ever before seen. Yet for software and hardware, there is a lot. As usual, my main editing was through clip champs. I also got my audio from YouTube because I had to make sure it was clean and had no Foul language. I also use YouTube to upload the video on which took a while to download. I also had some trouble through the platform of YouTube because the video kept coming up pixelated. So I had to change the software and get a premium so I could make it clearer. What are my biggest troubles off with this video was the resolution of it. A lot of the hardware would make it either too pixelated or too small of Frame. High resolution was needed all throughout this video. not just for the quality of the overall audience. Yet also for the overall plot because the technology utilized need be able to read. This brings back into our use of phones and text messages if our audience can't see the messages therefore they can't understand the overall linking to the plot. Hence why this hardware was very frustrating. overall we fixed it and the video came up pixelated. There is a lot of editing the technology used throughout this video as seen.
