 Ambulance

Today we filmed our ambulance scene. During our 5th period, we are lucky enough to have a practice ambulance in our EMS room. Paola is also a student in the class so the teacher volunteered to help us and another student. I first started helping to gather all of our props and pre ambulance. There were a lot of medical bags on the stretcher we were going to film on. SO I had to take that off. Then there was a dummy and I also had to move that. Which was super heavy. Then as Paola was starting to put on her makeup, I turned on the ambulance and started setting up the lights I also wanted to make sure there was nothing Fort Lauderdale related in the shots. I started looking around in one of his closets for more props. Then I found spirit wax. Which is for cosmetics and I asked and he said it was a fake gore kit. So we started putting makeup on Paola which started looking very realistic. I started looking over our scripts and storyboards making sure we weren't, is anything. Then I went to Mr.Evans and went over his lines. After Paola finished her makeup, Mr. Evans was talking to us about some EMT-related things within the ambulance and needle safety. Since the needle we used in the film was real which was super cool. After we put her on the gurney and strapped her in. Mr.Evans and our extra Alexander C. got into the ambulance and we ran lines again. Yet when I started filming everyone kind of just started improving. Which made the acting so realistic. We had someone Pinch Paola and after she started actually freaking out. Making her screams actually real in the beginning. I had such a fun time filming this overall. There definitely was a lot of pressure. I felt as if I worked very well under it and hopefully it pays off.
