Filming

Filming for Violent Crimes

For our music video, there were a lot of clips. Meaning we had to do a lot of filming. Overall, I already had a creative idea in my head but I wanted to portray it on the screen. Therefore, making my visionary ideals easy for me to execute. Some of the aerial shots that we took an also crane views were a little bit harder to capture. For our third shot, we had to actually tape my phone to the ceiling to get it. And it wasn't even as good as we wanted it to be. There was a lot of frustration throughout the filming. Yet it was an overall unforgettable in a great experience. We started off with filming an aerial shot then kept that throughout our film. A lot of our shots were so we could essentially if that immersed feeling the viewer. We wanted them to feel as almost if they were inside our music video. Then we also see a lot of them over the shoulder shots. This first-person perspective was crucial for our music video. We see a lot of technology throughout the video we just highlighted through the angling of the older shoulders. by giving the viewer this almost first-person perspective, it gives the viewer this attachment to the characters. And with each clip, adds more and more to the storyline. A lot of the crane shots and aerials also help give the viewer a better feel too. Essentially, we are making the viewer feel as almost if they're watching over our actor Paola. at her, most vulnerable moments and are happiest. The deeper meaning of the music video is also seen within these shots. By making sure our lighting was there within our clips also just added on to each shot making it more and more detailed and clean. Overall there's a lot of shots making this a very elaborate video. Yet the viewer gets a different take and feel with each of them which makes it all worthwhile.  While there were a lot of takes and different shots. In turn, leads to a better quality video for not only our peers but Cambridge

Not sure why it's so pixilated... :(
